Brandcore enters into an exclusive licence agreement with the brand owner, giving us full commercial rights to operate, market, and sell the brand across all channels. The brand owner retains legal ownership of the intellectual property throughout. We act as the dedicated operating company, managing every aspect of the brand from day one of the licence period.
You retain full ownership of your brand, trademarks, intellectual property, and product formulations throughout the licence period. The agreement gives Brandcore exclusive operational rights, but ownership remains with you at all times. At the acquisition stage, the formal transfer of ownership takes place in exchange for an agreed multiple of revenue.
The commercial structure of each agreement is tailored to the individual brand, its current scale, and the scope of investment required. Our model is performance-based, which means our financial interests are aligned with growing the brand as quickly and sustainably as possible. Specific terms are discussed during the partnership conversation and agreed before any licence is signed.

In practice, this has ranged from 18 months to several years depending on the starting point of the brand.
